How a paralegal can help

get the legal representation that you need

A licensed paralegal must have successfully completed an appropriate diploma program, be of good character and pass a Law Society of Ontario Exam.

In Ontario, certain disputes are resolved by tribunal where paralegals can represent in the following areas:

Small Claims Court

Provincial Offences

Employment Issues

certain summary convictions

other disputes that take place before Ontario's 13 tribunals

Hiring a paralegal to represent you, can save time and money. A paralegal can submit evidence and paperwork effectively, and provide representation so you don’t have to deal with the issue alone.
